The t-shirt label indicates that it was made in Canada from 100% cotton, and the size was adult large, which translates approximately to an adult medium by the standards of 2012. Did we really all get super-sized over the last 20 years? GRRHS Collection (donated from the Parrott/Pensaert Collection)

A copy of a t-shirt produced to commemorate the 20th anniversary of GLLOW, which occurred on 1991, March 8.
The t-shirt label indicates that it was made in Canada from 100% cotton, and the size was adult large, which translates approximately to an adult medium by the standards of 2012. In this t-shirt the logo is printed on the back, evidently so as not to obscure the sculptural details of the wearer's front torso. GRRHS Collection (donated from the Parrott/Pensaert Collection)

The name for the group was GLLOW from 1985 to 1998. Since the shirt belonged to Jim Parrott, and he re-joined the Group in 1991, January, we conclude that this logo was used at some point between 1991 and 1998, probably after 1991, since the more elaborate logo (for the 20th anniversary) was in use through much of 1991.

The t-shirt label indicates that it was a Fruit of the Loom product made in Canada of heavy cotton, and it was a large size, equivalent to a 2012 medium size. Clearly the local fast-food establishments have some explaining to do. GRRHS Collection (donated from the Parrott/Pensaert Collection)

A copy of a t-shirt produced by the Waterloo-Wellington Regional Pride Committee to commemorate the Pride 97 celebration. In the next few years, this was referred to variously as the t-shirt-fiasco t-shirt, or the never-again t-shirt, owing to the financial losses associated with its production. Where have we heard that story before? And yet, the garment itself is not without a certain charm.
