Although the year is not given on the poster, there is strong evidence that the year was 1981: (1) during the entire run of Gay News & Views, the only years with the dates mentioned on the poster falling on Tuesdays are 1981 and 1987, and (2) the February 3 show was entitled “Faggot Brothers of the Moon” - an album released by Charlie Murphy in 1981. |
